Welcome to PPC Girl


Hello There! Welcome to PPC Girl blog.

You guessed it, I am a young lady working in PPC. I currently work full time at an agency in the West Midlands, while honing my knowledge and freelancing on the side. I now have about year of experience under my belt working with Adwords, Analytics, and am a qualified Google Partner certified in Search Advanced, Mobile, Shopping, Display and Analytics. Quite simply, I love marketing both in the sense of digital being technical, but also the creative side too.


Why I Love My Work

Numbers may be powerful, but it is understanding data, and creating insights that are useful to the core needs of a business and then implementing effective, innovative actions that really count when it comes to SEM and PPC. 

Not only do I love the challenge of turning data into actionable strategies, but also being creative and working closely with businesses to fine tune their marketing efforts as a whole. Working in house, but also as part of a small agency has helped me do this, and what I love most about SEM, PPC and digital marketing in general, is just how closely any business in today's world can truly connect with and understand their audience when using the right tools.

I love to study, improve my knowledge independently all the time, and enjoy being an active member of the SEM online community when I can. I also plan on attending SMX in London in May 2016 (hopefully see you there!).

My motto is: 

If we are always learning, we are always improving.

I mean this in the sense of every day life, but also when it comes to data, consumer behaviour and so on. If you can learn and improve by using data to it's full potential - then you can truly cultivate success.

I love my work because the SEM world is always throwing new challenges at businesses, in order to keep only the best on top. It's also challenging for account managers, because the environment in which we work online evolves at such a fast pace, but that's what keeps it interesting! 

As the consumers of today adapt their behaviour to searching on mobile devices, and not just classic desktop computers, more and more options are opening up for advertisers to turn very personal, intent driven micro-moments into leads, sales and on-going relationships with their customers. Mobile is changing the way we all find what we're looking for online ... and I think right now is a very exciting time to be in digital marketing. 

I feel like I am only just discovering my own potential within this industry, and much hope to find a role where I can use (and expand) not only my highly analytical mind, but also my creative side too - to drive businesses forward and in the simplest wording; bring the right people, and the right businesses together... in the right places, at the right times. 

I am looking forward to the years ahead,
